Who is behind homify?

homify consists of a team of 100 young, passionate people located in Berlin, Germany. This company is entirely self-financed - there are no investors, large corporations or any other donors involved in homify.

What are the advantages of homify?

homify is a collaborative platform made of professionals from many different fields involving architecture, interior design, interior decoration, constructing and many more. homify offers you a way of widening your internet presence, which can be updated by yourself at any time. Your projects can be saved by the end user in an online Ideabook. This allows you to find and attract potential customers.

How does homify work?

It takes very little time to create a profile on homify and through that you can be found by potential customers. Creating a profile is very easy and it only takes a few minutes.

Is homify free of charge?

Yes, the registration and the usage as well as the uploading of pictures is completely free of charge. There are no hidden costs.

How is homify financed?

Homfiy creates editorial content with the pictures provided by the professionals, which is monetised through discrete advertisement. homify only allows ads from highly reputable brands of the construction and living professional fields.

Will the rights for the pictures be eliminated with the upload?

No, you will only be allowing homify to use the pictures. The uploaded pictures will not be passed on to any third party.

Can I retract the right to use the pictures?

Yes, you can. The right to use your pictures will be retracted from homify, in case you decide to delete your account. Please note that all of your pictures will be deleted in that case.

What information does homify require?

To create a profile, homify only needs your e-mail address, your company category and the areas you cover. Please note that the more informative your profile is, the more attention you will gain from our users. Your data is naturally confidential and will in no case be transmitted to any third party.

Who can review me?

Every registered user has the opportunity to review professionals.

What is the objective of the reviews?

Reviews should not be underestimated. They do not only serve to rate your products and services, but also the experience. They are also a way to establish trust to your potential customers.

Can I turn off the reviews function for my professional profile?

No, you can not turn off the reviews function.

Can I delete negative or incorrect ratings by myself?

Yes, every professional has the opportunity to delete inappropriate reviews.

Does the area I cover have an effect on my ranking in the search for professionals?

Yes, by all means. Generally, every activity on your profile will have a positive effect on your ranking at homify.

Can I invite my existing customers to review me?

Yes. In order to do so, the only thing you have to do is to click on “Request a review” in your profile. Your existing customers will then receive a link to your homify profile and then have the opportunity to submit a review.
