Everyone has their own version of their dream home–yet whether it's quaint and cosy or ornate and upscale, it seems that there's one element that's universal in our quest for the perfect home, and that is entertainment space. We all somehow have that inner desire to show off our home and its style, so the entertainment areas or features of our home are of the utmost importance.
Today on homify 360, we're showing you a home with an entertainment area that's out of this world and one we're sure you'll fall in love with. The architects at Argollo & Martins built this property that covers an area of 200 square metres and used primarily natural materials like stone and wood to create an inviting and intimate atmosphere that immediately welcomes all guests wholeheartedly. And with surprises around every corner, you'll quickly realise why this space has the potential to be anyone's dream home.
And there you have it! As we back up, we can see that this kitchen and dining area is part of an outdoor entertainment space! These architects spared no effort in giving this area a very special charm. The spacious terrace exhibits nothing but openness and invitation and comes fully equipped with a built-in barbecue. The variety of materials, colours, and textures combine to create an interesting fusion of sophistication with a subtle tie to nature.
At first glance, this space appears simple and totally elegant. A brilliant combination of white and wood adorn this kitchen and dining space. This area is also the perfect place to host events of any size–there's plenty of cooking and seating, plus a flat screen television across from the table means you can watch the game while catching up with friends.
As we look at this space, we can appreciate it's beauty, but what exactly makes this space stand out above the rest? When we take a step back, now that's when things get interesting.
From a different perspective, we can see the sloping roof construction, as well as all of the available seating at the dining table. The area here is simple and modern thanks to the round glass table, subtle brown hues of the furniture, and calming colour palette, and a single flower centre piece and a few ceramic accessories ensure a relaxing and personal touch.
As if the above characteristics weren't enough, this outdoor entertainment area even has a pool! It adjoins directly to the outdoor kitchen and optimally complements the entire space. With the addition of a pool, this home becomes even more of a dreamlike holiday getaway.
The various and spread out vegetation gives this area a tropical feel, but also serves as a protective element against prying and wandering eyes.
Our last stop is just beyond the pool by the outside wall. Here, we find even more outdoor seating–just in case what we saw before wasn't enough. This area is gently shaded by the neighbouring tree and farther away from the more social areas of the home. This ensures an even greater escape into the vacation mindset these residents have thought up.
