Today we’re taking a trip to Poland, more specifically to suburban Bialystok – the largest city in the country’s north east—to take a look an idyllic home designed for a modern family.
The bungalow has been brought to us by Design Office MTM STYLE, who offer over twenty years of experience and an astonishing array of over eight-hundred architectural projects.
The architects have designed the home for a family of four or five, and as a result the home benefits from a vast amount of space, as well as impressive grounds that accompany it. Let’s take a look…
Moving away from the home for a moment allows us to survey the property as a whole, and from here we can appreciate the size of the formidable family home. The bungalow has an area of 141.07 m², but in addition the property includes a vast lawn at the front as well as garage space for two cars.
The sublime suburban home ticks all the boxes for a fantastic family home – including excellent energy efficiency thanks to the chosen construction materials—but in doing so it doesn’t forgo any style. The façade is simple, but modern and elegant, and inside the décor follows a modern, minimalist style.
The living room opens onto a terrace that’s partially covered by the roof, providing shade and shelter from the rain, and here the parents can relax and enjoy a drink in the sunshine while surveying the vast garden; all while keeping an eye on the kids.
The property hides a stunning surprise: the sheltered patio extends onto an attractive wooden decking, and beyond that we have a sizable swimming pool! The almost seamless transition between the living room and pool is impressively elegant, and the ample garden space surrounding the pool is truly enviable.
Here we have the plans allowing us to take a look at the home’s spacious interior. The home has three fairly large bedrooms for the kids, and an en suite master bedroom. As previously mentioned, there’s ample parking in the garage; essential in Poland to account for the cold winters.
The home has a wonderfully open, fluid feel thanks to a kitchen that’s only partially separated from the open-plan dining room/living room creating a large open area that’s connected to the patio outside by large glass doors.
