1. A dust-free carpet

It is a well-known fact that a dusty carpet is one of the biggest culprits for respiratory illness and hence must be cleaned regularly. However, it is much economical to clean it at the house with natural ingrediants rather than relying on any other source. For this, we recommend that you sprinkle baking soda over the carpet, leave it for about half a day, and then suck it by means of a vacuum cleaner for a fresh and dust-free experience.

2. Cleaning the dirty faucet

The faucet and its surroundings can be easily cleaned with the peel of lemon or mandarin. Since these are natural and not harsh chemicals, they will leave a nice refreshing tinge after you are done cleaning. If this does not help, you can also opt for a toothpaste, it is twice as strong as the lemon peel or mandarin.

3. Cleaning the WC

Coke is not a good drink for your body, however, it can act as a very good cleaning agent. Simply pour a can of cola in the bowl as well as around the rim and let it sit. The acids in the cola will slowly start to loosen up the stains which you can flush after a couple of hours. If this does not work, you can also opt for denture cleaners to clean the stains. Just drop the denture tablets in the bowl, let it sit for half and hour and then flush the stains off.

4. Maintaining the furniture

While cleaning the wooden furniture, we recommend that you remove out all the dust before you wipe it. Avoid using excessive water and stick to proper cleaning solutions that are available in plenty in the markets. Just make sure to get the right kind of solution for the type of wood you have.

5. Cleaning the lamps

Lamps are one of those elements which accumulate a lost of dust. Similar to the wooden furniture, always make sure to remove out all the dust from the light fixture. You will need to be more careful in this case since the dust is most likely to fall on the kitchen counter, bed, or the sofa, basically places which need to be completely dust-free

6. Cleaning dusty blinds

While cleaning the blinds, one of the biggest problems is that the dust blows away and gets settled in other spaces of the house. To avoid this we recommend that you wear cleaning gloves, spray them over with cleaning liquids, and directly use your hands to clean the dust.

7. Clogged bathroom traps

In the case of clogged or stinking bathroom traps, we recommend that you opt for a solution of baking powder and vinegar in a 1:1 ratio and follow it up by boiling water to clean the mess. Pouring plenty of kitchen cleaning detergent and boiling water too can prove as an effective solution to deal with such kind of problems.

8. Cleaning the fridge

It is always a good idea to periodically clean the fridge and check its working condition. A clean fridge can go a long way in maintaining the quality of food you keep inside it. For cleaning the fridge, try water and vinegar in 1:1 ratio and wipe the interiors by means of dry towel.

9. Cleaning the microwave

Similar to a fridge, a microwave too demads a lot of cleaning since our food goes directly into it. For this, we recommend that you add a slice or two of lemon in cup full of water and allow it to heat inside the microwave for about 2-3 minutes. For better results, you can also try barley tea or simple tea instead of water.

10. A nice smelling shoe rack

Shoe racks are one of those spaces that very easily begin to stink due to the excessive moisture and smelly shoes. To avoid this, you can place a cup of coffee beans or baking soda in the rack. Both these elements act as natural deodorizer by absorbing the excess moisture from the air that causes all the problem.
