Take a look at the redesign of this beautiful Taiwanese apartment!

In today’s homify 360° discovery, see how these designers optimized every nook and cranny in this small apartment to bring function and comfort to this home. Working with a very small space, Taiwan-based design firm Chun Mu Design and designer, Wang Zhenyu, used some creative planning and imagination to outfit the home with modern and practical features.

What does the end result look like? Glad you asked…

1. Mixing brick and concrete

The designers took a risk mixing brick with concrete, but it totally works here! Paired with simple furniture and clean hardwood floors, this living room is perfect for enjoying an evening at home.

How else did the interior designer create more space? They installed trey ceilings which create the illusion of depth and dimension in this room. We're totally onboard with this look!

2. Floor to ceiling storage

This unit is a great way to sneak more storage in a small space and display your favorite decorations. The designers also creatively used this unit to breakup the concrete wall and bring more texture to the room.

What do you think of this storage unit? At homify we can help you imagine a similar look for your home and help you find great designers to create it. Check out 10 brilliant ways to make your room more functional!

5. Industrial texture to the concrete walls

7. Extra storage under bed

We told you these designers were creative! This bedroom storage is a great way to hide more obtrusive items like suitcases, hangers, etc. that you don't use regularly.

Let's look at more variations of the bed below…

9. The storage is now completely hidden
