A combination of stunning views of the surrounding, which have been tactfully used by the famous interior designer Pal Pang, and smart design choices make it look so stunning. The apartment is built for a young entrepreneur from Hong Kong. Being a busy business traveller, he had little time to work on his own project. He saw some of Pal Pang’s works in a lifestyle magazine and thought them to be very stylish and ingenuous. So he contacted the designer to work on his project ground up.
The apartment is spread over two levels and boasts of a living area of 2400 square feet. In the image above, you can see a part of the living room. Large glass windows cover every side of the room bar one. The result is simply breathtaking. The owner and his guests can easily enjoy the views of the bay area and beyond. It also allows generous amount of sunshine in the living room. Cosy sectional sofas are placed at the centre of the room.
In the upholstery, you can see an extensive use of earthy tones. Laminated wood panels on the feature wall and ceiling inject a cheery note in the interior atmosphere. Very low centre and corner tables are used to hold small household items as well as food and drinks for entertainment of the guests.
The apartment follows an open floor plan. The far side of the room is dedicated to the kitchen, home bar and dining area. A round very dark tone dining table is placed here. Armchairs surround the dining table. A home bar is built in the same area of the room. The stone top bar table is fitted with under the table lighting. Chic chandeliers beautify the area too.
The terrace décor is simple, yet graceful. Wood flooring makes it look even more beautiful. Glass railings ensure an uninterrupted view of the blue vista around the house. To appreciate the views and also relax for a while, one may sit on the organic deck chair.
The master bedroom of this duplex apartment is another beauty. Like other rooms of the apartment, the views contribute to the charm of the bedroom. But that’s not all. Clever design principles make optimum use of the resources. Hardwood flooring and laminated wall panels maintain the genial nature of the interior atmosphere.
The upholstered bed is in tune with the overall scheme of colour and décor. The room is also supplied with a simple tv cabinet and sofa. When in need, the inhabitant of the room can easily draw the beige tones curtains cover the glass windows. The apartment is designed with two more bedrooms.
Perhaps not so surprisingly, the apartment is also designed with a spacious spa style bathroom. Here you can see the shower area. Skid proof engineered wood flooring cover the shower room. The rest of the bathroom space boasts of chic stone flooring. Stone panels are also used to decorate the walls. The bathroom boasts of a lofty ceiling height which makes the room look even more spacious. Altogether, this Hong Kong apartment has four bathrooms.
