Our newest homify 360° gem comes from interior design firm Hatch Interior Studio, based in Puchong. Recognised by TOP Asia Pacific Awards for its contribution to interior design, the firm is fully committed to producing top-notch results, regardless of the project at hand.

The secret to their success? Collaborating with each client from the very start to get a better understanding of what is wanted from a project, and also what is required. This has resulted in an ever-expanding portfolio for the firm, showcasing a variety of projects in the commercial-, residential, and industrial fields.

Let’s showcase one of their most recent residential designs: a condo at Casa Tropicana.

An open living space

Decked out in the modern style, this open-plan living area pays equal amounts of attention to functionality and visual aesthetics. Case in point: the wainscot panelling of the walls, the fluffy rug neatly anchoring the seating area of the living room, plus the desks effectively separating the culinary corner from the relaxing / socialising one.

Top-notch lighting designs

Adding to the interiors’ functionality is the supreme lighting designs, serving to not only provide sufficient illumination, but also complement the room’s fascinating style. After all, how often does one come across a ceiling design sporting such a geometric, contemporary style with just the right amount of dazzle without being overbearing?

Notice the open-style bookcase against the wall, successfully taking care of the room’s storage needs while also displaying a few choice accessories.

The culinary corner

A hop and a skip away from the inviting sofa is where we locate the working desk (a sort of in-between zone separating the living- and cooking areas from one another). To make the most of the limited legroom, no walls were chosen to divide the separate areas, successfully enhancing the social atmosphere of the interiors. That means the hardworking cook can be kept company by visiting guests while that delightful meal is being prepared!

Our favourite piece here? Undoubtedly those pendants sporting an industrial design (and giving off an affectionate warm glow) while dangling above the working desk and dining table.

Let’s enjoy a few more images that further detail this clever interior layout.
