The interiors of a gymnasium need to be vibrant and filled with energy so that it not only motivates members but also helps to keep the environment pleasant and positive. Everything about this gym is right, and it is the result of well-planned and executed design. The project has been designed and executed by the architects of Inception Design Cell in Noida. What you will notice is the balance between open spaces and equipment zones. It makes the gym look spaced-out and airy.
Looking at the lobby, you can see the emphasis on rustic and earthy shades. Everything in sight has a distressed and a natural look. For instance, on one side, bamboo sticks extend from the floor to the ceiling. While it works as a screen, it also allows first-time customers to take a peek inside. The rustic brick walls remind you of old buildings, but the bold mural keeps things modern and dramatic.
A gym needs to provide its members with everything they need in one place. For instance, while some will swear by kettlebells, others might love medicine balls. So, here, the gym provides easy access to everything within the space to support everyone. The kettlebells and weights have been arranged well. The soft flooring in one portion of the room provides adequate safety, so members do not lose their footing when they work out. One of the most pleasing things in the interiors is the emphasis on the natural colour of the wood.
A gym requires functional equipment and flooring. The designers have taken this into account while designing this space. In this instance, the room features multi-gym equipment on one side, weights on the other and a mat with distance markings that can be used for short sprints or other movements. The surface is tough enough to withstand wear and tear, and it provides excellent grip.
Here, we can see an excellent example of how to use colours to brighten up any space. Gym equipment can be visually quite dull. It is quite a challenge to make things vibrant and engaging when you are dealing with their layout and presentation. Here, the designers have chosen grey for the flooring. The rustic and natural brick wall balances it out. What catches the eye is the big silhouette of the Chakras which has been painted against a bright mustard yellow wall.
The designers’ attention to detail must be commended. They have chosen yellow as an accent colour and used it wherever possible to create the perfect pop of colour. You can see the benches, and the track, feature the shade. It creates a stunning contrast.
