This interior was designed by ZE123 Collective, a design studio formed in Naples, Italy, that focuses primarily on residential interiors and product design.

Throughout the design there is an elegant finesse demonstrated in the attention to detail and bespoke elements. Rather than selecting off-the-shelf furniture solutions, the studio have incorporated their bespoke product designs in this plush and alluring interior. Soft neutrals, offset by deep charcoals and the odd moment of jet black, create a warm and inviting space. Now, let's take a step inside so you can see for yourself!

Social to private

While the private areas of the home assume a more removed and compartmentalised layout, they still find excellent connection to the social heart of the home. In this shot, looking through the kitchen, we can see the entrance to the two respective bedrooms, located directly off the kitchen and dining area.

We also get an up-close glimpse of the bespoke light fixture that is suspended over the dining table. The minimal wire frame alludes to the frame of a fabric lamp shade—but no fabric is to be found! Instead, the black skeletal frame adds a contemporary edge to the interior.

The kitchen

This space is the social heart of the home; with seamless connection, the kitchen, dining and living zones are all contained within one open-plan space. Eschewing physical barriers, the designers employ more subtle spatial separations to delimit and distinguish these different zones.

Here, we can see the kitchen island which mediates the kitchen and dining areas—maintaining visual connection, the island contains the kitchen, preserving its difference.

Connection and division

Reflected in the gilded mirror, we can see that the living zone sits adjacent to the dining area. A brick insert is applied to the wall, running at an unusual angle, to mark the space and form an anchor of sorts. It is a very effective device that acts to distinguish the various functions in the otherwise open and undifferentiated space.

The bathroom

The bathroom is sleek and sophisticated. Slate tiles line the floor and wall in places. The varying grey hues are offset by the the crisp white of the fixtures and surfaces, while a timber vanity top adds a touch of natural warmth to the space.

The layout optimises the space, a frosted window welcomes natural light whilst maintaining privacy, and the large mirror bounces the light around the room giving the illusion of added space. For more bathroom inspiration, take a look here!

The bedroom

The bedroom incorporates a walk-in wardrobe which acts to de-clutter the space. What remains is simple and elegant. A mint green feature wall infuses the room with a touch of colour and forms a backdrop for the bed. Bedside tables sit in symmetry either side of the bed, each with its own pendant light suspended overhead.

Bespoke table

Last, but certainly not least, we are left with this wonderful image of the bespoke side table. Irregular segments of twigs or branches are woven in a beautiful arrangement. Sitting atop this intricate column, a simple, circular glass surface house a pot plant. It is truly beautiful!
