The Palladian collection presents a contemporary, stylish and graphic exploration into the classic form of Palladian-style windows. Wallpaper designs create a wall of windows and segments from this pattern are used to form a refined and bold ceramics collection.

CUSTHOM launched their Palladian collection during London Fashion Week at Somerset House in September 2013. This prestigious and historic setting could not have been more apt. Having drawn on the architecture of Palladio, the classical forms used within CUSTHOM’s collection can be seen throughout the neo-classical buildings of Somerset House. The ceramics were used at events throughout London Fashion Week and in a special collaboration with Tom’s Kitchen, headed by Michelin starred chef Tom Aikens, in an artful marriage of food and design.

Playing with the notion of the Palladian frame, the ceramic designs explore the use of negative space, geometry, form and scale, finished with the distinctive CUSTHOM metallic accent.

CUSTHOM’s graphic exploration is underpinned by a refined colour palette of royal blue set against white with gold and the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship. The collection is made exclusively in Britain, the wallpapers use durable FSC certified paper with the blue colourway being screen printed by hand and the metallic variation is hand finished in CUSTHOM’s London studio. The ceramics collection is made in Stoke-on-Trent, using fine bone china and each piece is individually finished with a hand-painted 22ct gold edge.

The collection can be viewed and bought online at www.custhom.co.uk, RRP prices range from £23.50 for a side plate to £53 for the serving plate and £120 - £295 for a 10m roll of wallpaper.
