The basis for the lamp is an ancient shed board from faraway Lapland. When demolition of this 100 year old shed I saved it and gave it a new, beautiful use.
The patch design support consist of a cardboard tube that is sized outside with real Lappish birch bark and thus authentically naturally fits to the old board.
The motifs themselves have been cut out of slices of ancient Kelo wood from Lapland and show three typical animals of the Nordic forest, elk, wolf and reindeer.
For lighting I have used short LED strips that consume little energy and therefore develop little heat. The associated transformer 220V / 9.5V is of course included.
The lamp is particularly suitable as decorative lighting on all seats of the house or in a bar.
Hung it is on two picture hooks.
