We recently bought a house and my wife, as I had predicted asked me to get the kitchen renovated – which I agreed to. The work was halfway through when an accident left a crack on the worktop installed in our kitchen. I needed to get it replaced ASAP. Thankfully, MKW Surfaces and their amazing range of Silestone worktops gave me enough options to choose the right one in no time. Apart from their amazing range of products, these guys also offer great deals. I will surely come back to them for more!

Dekton is stain-resistant and super durable. There is hardly any material as much resistant to heat as Dekton. In fact, it is heat-proof. With so many admirable attributes, these dekton countertops are valued for money and promise longevity, saving the repeated expenses—best for indoor and outdoor both, as it is crack resistant too.

While searching for the best granite worktops in London, we came across the MKW surface as one of the best worktop providers. From design consultation to their top-notch management plan, their services were truly worth every penny. While they provide standard installation with every order, their minimal turn-around time to install the granite worktops in London was extremely impressive to us.

On a colleague’s recommendation, I recently bought a white quartz worktop for my kitchen remodel from MKW Surfaces. In hindsight, the decision turned out to be a good one. The product selection is broad, backed by full buying assistance and competitive prices. They even managed the installation in line with my requirements and schedule. It is highly recommended!

Quartz worktops are in fashion, and more and more homeowners now prefer to install quartz worktops to give an aesthetic look at their kitchen. Similar to granite worktops, quartz worktops provide a refined and polished look to any new kitchen. Quartz worktops come in a variety of expressions and are incredibly durable, resistant to scratches, moisture and impacts.

I have been shopping for a white quartz worktop for a while and visited MKW workshop. My quote was handled by Vinnie who suggested an Opal quartz. I was considering a Silestone, but they quoted me nearly 50% more for it (£2800 inc VAT vs £1860 inc VAT for Opal). They convinced me to go with the cheaper quote saying that their Opal quartz was a great quality and it was not worth paying for a brand name of the more known product, and that their Opal quartz was a Volkswagen of quartz worktops.  Before my template taking I received another quite from a well known national company (named after a central London neighbourhood) for a Silestone worktop that was only 15% more expensive that their Opal quartz, however, trusting MKW I decided not to pay extra for a brandname.  On the day of fitting it turned out that two parts of the worktop cut from the same slab (my kitchen is L-shaped) did not align correctly and joint is not flushed. The fitter blamed ME for choosing a CHEAP and POOR QUALITY worktop. Apparently, Opal worktops are often uneven or sunk in the middle of the slab creating variances in thickness. So, it seems that instead of 'VW' of worktops I got a cheap and poor quality Indian 'Tata' worktop.  The join is visible and not flush and the variance in thickness is apparent between the two worktops as well as against the upstand. The joint looks worse that my previous laminate worktop joint at 1/10 of the price.  I am extremely annoyed, as I paid a premium for a substandard product. I emailed MKW on the day of the fitting (3 days ago) and am still awaiting their response. It is apparent that they make their money by offering a cheap and inferior product at inflated prices. I am really upset and regret trusting this company.
