The person was nice; but did not know enough to install a motor on his own. He ended up having to call someone to help him; but when he ran into trouble again, he would not call for more help. Yes, the motor works (that is the reason I gave a star). I would not be writing this negative review had the company called me back to finish up the job in a professional manner. I cleaned up the mess and the electrician we called fixed the plug mishap. The installation still does not look professional, but the garage door does open and close
"They advertise ""same day service"" until it's needed. I had a door that had come off its track. That was on a Tuesday. When I called to have service, I was informed the earliest I could receive service was Thursday of the same week. Obviously, with the door halfway open and halfway closed, with the car still in the garage, that was unacceptable. I contacted another garage door company, and they arrived within two hours. They should put an asterisk next to the same-day service info on their webpage to indicate same-day service is not always the case"

Once he got here he could see my garage door eye wasn't set right and proceeded to fix both lights and told me what to look for when aligning the eyes. He was friendly and a great humorous

I had an old key-operated garage door that decided to flip out one morning, much like the other door had a couple of weeks before. I got on the phone and they were able to come within a couple of hours! My car was in the way-dead battery, but they pushed it out and jumped it for me. What a team. ZERO stars. I called the service out. They looked and said it was just the openers not connecting right. So I paid $300 dollars just for them to connect 3 openers and lubricate the chains- I was desperate considering the weather here. Three days later the garage stopped working again... they come back and want to charge me $250 for a new circuit, $150 labor, or $500 for a new opener all together. Over priced and not budging. Not even taking the openers back to give some money back because “they are universal”. Do not get scammed like i did. They are crooks
I contacted Veteran Garage Door Repair on Dec. 7th due to a broken spring. I agreed to a 3pm appointment. However, the office contacted me to ask if they could come earlier (at 2:30pm). I agreed. Later I received another call from the technician, Lance, informing me of his expected arrival. He came on time (if not a few minutes early, which I appreciate). Lance was professional, polite, and explained everything to me. He assessed the problem quickly and had me back in operation about a half hour later. Lance emailed my receipt within minutes and I received a follow-up phone call from Derek regarding my experience/satisfaction.
